Dr Guillaume Bagnarosa is Associate Professor of Finance. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and is a research associate at the SMART UMR (INRAe–IA). Before joining RSB, he was a Professor at University College London and Head of Research at Molinero Capital Management, a London-based hedge fund. His research focuses on risk management and commodities markets.
He has extensive teaching experience at all levels in financial engineering, mathematical finance, and risk management.
His work has been published in leading journals such as the European Review of Agricultural Economics, the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Energy Economics, and the Journal of Commodity Markets. He has collaborated with French companies through CIFRE contracts and participated in national and international research projects, including the PEPR Project Subsurface: a Common Good. As an internationally recognized expert, he has advised public institutions such as France Stratégie and presented his research before the French Senate. Prior to his academic career, he worked for several years in investment banking, notably at Rothschild and BNP Paribas.
