Dr Öncü Hazır is a full professor at Rennes School of Business in France. He received his BS in Industrial Engineering and MBA from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. He completed his Ph.D. at the Department of Business Administration at Bilkent University in 2008. His dissertation was on project scheduling. He worked as a post-doctorate researcher in Laboratoire d’Informatique de Paris 6 and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne and as an associate professor at TED University.
His research interests mainly cover project scheduling and control, earned value management, production planning, and operations management. He participated in various research projects and gave seminars and lectures. He published several articles in operations research and management journals. He co-authored the textbook, “An Introduction to Project Modeling and Planning » and co-edited the book, “Tomorrow’s Data Empowered Project Management » both published by Springer.
