Dr Mahabubur Rahman holds a PhD in Marketing from the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin, Ireland. His research primarily explores the intersection of marketing strategy, sustainability, and both financial and non-financial firm performance. Dr. Rahman employs advanced econometric modeling and data envelopment analysis (DEA), among other methodologies, in his work. He has published extensively as both a sole author and lead investigator in leading journals, including the British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Ecological Economics, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Advertising Research, International Marketing Review, and Journal of Brand Management, among others. His work has received notable recognition, including the Best Paper Award from the Journal of Advertising Research (2017) and the Outstanding Reviewer Award from the Journal of Product Innovation Management (2023). Dr. Rahman serves as Associate Editor for the International Journal of Advertising and the Journal of Global Marketing, and he sits on the editorial and advisory boards of several leading journals, including the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Corporate Reputation Review, Management Decision, and the Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing.
